We’re building NZ’s first real challenger bank - modern financial infrastructure for small business owners who’ve been underserved for too long. With a small team, what we're delivering is already rivalling some global unicorns.
We’ve raised capital, processed tens of millions in transactions, and proven product-market fit. But it’s still Day 1 - we’re just getting started.
About the Role
This is part EA, part operator, part wildcard.
One day you’re wrangling board packs and investor updates. The next, you’re deep in product research or helping triage ops challenges. You’ll have a front-row seat to what it takes to build a company - and the chance to help shape it.
It’s a founder-track apprenticeship, not a paper-pusher EA gig.
Who This Role is Actually For
- A Law, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting grad (or similar - maybe you're a couple of years into a big consulting pathway but don't want to die wondering if you'll make partner...)
- Ridiculously smart, fast-learning, and naturally curious

What You’ll Do
- Work directly with the CEO across all areas of the business
- Prepare board/investor decks, research memos, and internal comms
- Support leadership with project tracking and workflow management
- Triage founder-level problems across product, ops, legal, growth, etc.
- Handle key admin tasks to keep the engine running (yes, even receipts)
- Help design and improve internal systems and tooling
- Be the "glue" across teams, spotting problems before they become blockers
How We Work
We split our week intentionally:
- Mon/Wed = WFH - great for Deep Work
- Tues/Thurs/Fri = In-office - high-bandwidth collab, whiteboards, and BBQs on the deck
This role thrives on proximity – we move fast, build fast, and make better decisions face-to-face. You’ll want to be in the room where it happens.
